Winter Blast Three Ages: Sr High
Deep Freeze is a weekend retreat planned specifically for Jr High youth groups – that means lots of action in the snow, great food, dynamic chapel speakers and a full worship band – all to encourage youth in their walk with Christ! We take care of the programming so youth leaders can spend their time investing in relationships with their youth.

Camp Crossroads
Finding God in every moment
Friendship
Deep Freeze retreaters all come with their church youth groups and so there is a lot of time in the schedule for deepening friendships that will continue at home. There are also fun opportunities to mix with other youth groups and make new friends!
Faith
A full worship band and chapel speaker will provide opportunities to be encouraged and challenged in your faith journey. There is also time set aside in the schedule for Chillin' in Church groups - a time when each church youth group can spend time discussing what was taught in the chapels and how it applies to daily life.
Fun
We hope you like winter as much as we do, because if the weather cooperates, there will be an outdoor skating rink, a downhill tube run, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice-fishing, and plain old fun in the snow. Our program staff will provide some group games with all the youth groups and as well as help supervise free time activities where you can choose your own adventure.

Alyssa LaRocque
Alyssa LaRocque lives in Gravenhurst, Ontario. She is married to Luke and is mom to an 8- and 12-year-old. She became a Christian as a child, made her faith her own when she was a preteen, and has learned amazing things about God with each new season of her life since then! Alyssa is a worship leader at Calvary Baptist Church in Gravenhurst, an elementary school supply teacher, and a forever camp person who loves everything about the energy, community and faith experiences of camp. She attended Beacon Bible Camp growing up and worked there on staff in the past, and just recently spent the summer running the LIT program at Camp Widjiitiwin. When not teaching, singing or doing camp, Alyssa loves running long distances, making art, reading science fiction and fantasy, drinking dark roast coffee, finding creatures, and enjoying beauty in the small things!
