Camp Crossroads

Finding God in every moment

Campers are led through the adventure of the day with their cabin leaders. Cabin groups move together through all the events of the day, providing lots of opportunity to deepen friendships and learn to work together as a team.

Chapel begins with a set of songs that usually include a lot of actions! Chapel speakers aim to communicate one simple thought each chapel using a variety of media to keep things moving. Cabin groups meet together with their leaders after chapel to review what they learned and ask any questions they might have.

Where do we begin?! Each cabin group will travel together to participate in swimming, field games, canoeing, crafts, the ropes course, outdoor adventure, cabin-time tubing, and cookouts. There are different fun meals each day and silly songs at fireside. Then there is the camp wide Special Event where all the campers work together to battle injustice and see peace at camp restored!

Meet the Junior Week Chapel Speaker
Kristi Lee

Kristi Lee is excited to be returning for her sixth summer as chapel speaker! Kristi works as the Executive Assistant for the Ontario Conference of MB Churches and has a huge heart for leadership development and building relationships within our Ontario churches and various ministry agencies. She has served in various aspects of children and youth ministry in local churches over the years and enjoys the challenge of teaching God’s Truth to young minds. Kristi also loves Camp Crossroads and is excited to be back in the chapel, bringing fun and creativity, inviting campers to fix our eyes on Jesus and putting our trust in God.

Kristi lives in St Catharines with her husband Matthew and kids; Madeline, Kaleb and Noelle, who all share her love for camp. When she’s not at her desk you will find her behind a camera or enjoying the outdoors with her two pups Fergus and Angus.
