Volunteer Opportunities
Summer Volunteer Positions
Camp Crossroads depends on the generosity of adult, Christian volunteers to provide its camping experiences. We need at least 300 willing workers each summer, and our history is a testament to those that volunteer each year (and over many years)
Consider joining us for a week or more this summer in a variety of areas: cabin leading, program leading, dining hall, cooking, nursing, janitorial work or maintenance.
Prerequisites: people who love Jesus Christ, have a heart to serve others and a passion for camping ministry.
Many of our positions require volunteers to be over 17, but if you are 17 or younger and are wanting to serve, fill out a form and we’ll see where we can find a place for you serve. (make sure to let us know if you have special skill like NLS, or other training)

Volunteers are required to have a police background check done every 3 years. We will be adding forms for those that need to complete a new check. If you are unsure of when your last check was, please contact tim@campcrossroads.com to find out if you need a new check done.
Cabin Leaders
If you love kids, enjoy camp activities and want to share the message of Christ and see Him change hearts this is the position for you. Camp Crossroads needs people to lead groups of 8-10 kids through a week of fun and excitement. Whether it’s the activities, chapels, meal times or firesides you will have the incredible opportunity to impact kids lives for Jesus! And don't worry... we will give you support. Cabin Leaders are all in close working with the Male & Female Section Heads who will provide a welcome orientation tour, resources and daily coaching & encouragement.
Program Staff
If you want to share the love of Christ with kids through skill based learning and good old-fashion fun, then this is the position for you. Camp Crossroads needs people who have skills in many different activity areas (see list below). All of our hard skill based activities have staff members who are the lead instructors, but we need volunteers to assist them with the teaching, cleanup/setup and supervision of the campers. All program staff are provided with
support from the Program Director and will receive coaching and encouragement as needed.
Support Staff
If you want to share the love of Christ to campers and staff through service in the kitchen, dinning hall, as a nurse, boat driver or on janitorial & maintenance, then this is the position or you! Each of these roles is vital to the running of camp and is as an act of service and encouragement to everyone on property.
